Unfortunately, the SockPuppet Flu has hit us hard over here, and we’re now a week behind.

The good news is, we’re feeling better and already hard at work on our next episode. And our special guest star is the completely delicious Kevin Michael Richardson, also known as “Cleveland Brown, Jr.” on The Cleveland Show and “Maurice” from Penguins of Madagascar (though I will always love him as “Openly Gator” from Queer Duck).

Thanks for your patience. We think this episode will either be especially good or especially surreal, depending on how much Nyquil we can get our hands on.

So we had this great idea to do a live Sockpuppet Theatre podcast on December 21st. I mean, yes, it’s the Friday before Christmas and everything, but it’s also the end of the world, so it’s not like anyone had plans.

Well, it turns out that many of our cast members did have plans. In fact, almost everyone is out of town, making this a very small cast party.

So we’ve decided to postpone our live Sockpuppet Theatre podcast until January. That way, if the world doesn’t explode, we’ll all have something to look forward to. Besides filing our taxes.

But there is some good news! Rob Paulsen will still be doing a live podcast at the Jon Lovitz Comedy Theatre this Friday, and he’ll be joined by voice-over legend Fred Tatasciore! And for the first time, Ustream will be streaming the Talkin’ Toons podcast live for your listening pleasure!

We have added a Monday Bonus Episode today, based on a thread found in the “Heated Debate” community on LiveJournal. It’s called IRRESPONSIBLE SLUTS, and stars April Winchell and Rob Paulsen. There is no cursing in this one, unless you consider the word “whore” cursing. In my family, it was a greeting.

Speaking of cursing, our own John Foley is now uploading safe-for-work versions of our more explicit videos to our YouTube channel. So if you liked the videos with cursing but didn’t want to share them with say, your pastor, now you can.
